Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Our washing machine has to be the most annoying thing in the world. Seriously. It sometimes gets stuck changing cycles, and makes this buzzing sound (super loud, loud, super quiet, it changes). When it buzzes for more than 7-10 seconds (again, it varies) it goes into 'siesta mode', where it refuses to respond to any button-pushing for an hour, or two hours, or more. To prevent siesta mode, you have to push this little button down VERY LIGHTLY within those 7-10 seconds and it will stop buzzing and kick into the next cycle.  Annoying annoying annoying.

So any time someone hears it buzzing, almost every person in the house will start running as if their lives depended on it towards the washing machine. The first person to get there will try to brake themselves really fast so their momentum doesn't make them push the button down too hard, and... it's an interesting sight.

But, yeah. I can't wait to get home.

This little piggy went to market...

Well, just an interesting little story here. Won't take too long.

The neighbor's little girl split her chin, so my dad gave her and her dad a ride to the hospital for stitches. They had to wear medical masks in the hospital because there are some patients sick with H1N1 and they didn't want it to spread. So swine flu is getting biggish. I hope we actually make it home without being restricted from crossing the border. That would suck. There have been 8 confirmed cases in Costa Rica so far, and 1 death (a 58-year old guy with lung/heart problems).  There are 80 confirmed cases in Utah, so I say we're okay!

The face-mask is cool, though.

Tea Party with Aragog

We saw a HUMONGOUS spider last night. Biggest spider in the world, and it was in our bathroom. My dad squished it. It had huge fangs. I'm afraid to go to sleep now... I've already woken up to
something moving in my hair, which I squished. I washed my hair after that. It was not fun.

That spider was HUGE. We have pictures. I'll post them sometime.

UPDATE:

Well, we had a party on the patio with some locals and showed off the pictures, and they'd never seen anything like it. Everyone was saying "Ooh! Es un nuevo especie!" or "Aah! Es un monstruo!" (jokingly). We can't figure out if it's a spider, or some sort of scorpion-related thing. But we might have killed the only existing specimen, so twiddle-dee-doo for us!

Welcome to A Very Good Blog! For costumer service, press 2. For free cookies, press 5. For advice on how to break up with your pet rock, press 9.

Well well well. Look who's here.
Feel no need to read this post since it mainly makes as much sense as a decapitated eraser who is about to commit suicide because he just lost his job mopping the keyboard.

You're still listening? Yes? Very well. Let us continue.
So. You want to know about my life? Then you're a stalker. You want to read my blog because you have nothing better to do? Okay!
This blog is going to be Me talking to You about stuff (in this case, the word "stuff" means "my life or anything else that falls into my head"). I hope you enjoy it. If not, then get off my property. HA!
Ahem.
Well, have fun... since this is the first post all you can do for now is look at the pretty background I guess, but that's not really my problem.

Buh-bye
